Anti-Aging Treatments

We all want to look younger.

At Henley Medial Aesthetics we understand that aging is natural and not to be feared.

But, there are many treatments to help soften the signs of aging. The three main signs of ageing are:

  1. Wrinkles
  2. Loss of volume and the effect of gravity on the face
  3. Poor skin quality and texture (often due to environmental stress and sun damage).
Let us help you with all three. Wrinkle relaxants such as BotoxTM and BocoutureTM can help reduce wrinkles. Dermal fillers give a more youthful appearance restoring lost volume. These can be used alone or in combination. A combination of these treatments can achieve a non-surgical facelift, brow lift or restore lack of volume and provide definition around the lip.

Excess Sweating

This is a common condition that affects more of us than we realise. The medical term is hyperhidrosis. Botulinum Toxin injections (commonly known as BotoxTM or BocoutureTM)  are one of the most effective treatments for stopping sweat production. Treatments that have to be rubbed onto the skin daily try to block sweat glands but the toxin actually reduces the amount of sweat that your body produces by working on your body’s receptors. It can have a dramatic reduction in sweating at hand, feet and armpits and lasts for months.

This can bring great relief to those who suffer with sweaty palms and feet or shirt staining under the armpits.

Ear Microsuction

Microsuction is the safest, most effective way of cleaning wax build up and any obstruction caused by foreign bodies down the ear canal. The procedure uses a sophisticated microscope which provides a magnified light source enabling the delicate structures of the ear canal to be viewed throughout the whole procedure.

Ear Wax removal using Microsuction is performed with the aid of an operating microscope and a finely calibrated suction device, without the introduction of any materials or liquids.

Microsuction is a very well tolerated by the majority of people, gives you fast results hence it is much more effective than the traditional wax removal methods. It is also SAFE, as the physician can see the structures inside your ear.

It is very rare that people may need wax softening with ear products, commonly olive oil, typically though, most clients manage to have their ears cleared in one session without any wax pre-treatment.
